- The Miss Southern Union pageant is a part of the Miss America Organization that provides scholarship money to contestants throughout the United States. Miss South- ern Union competes for the title of Miss Alabama each June at Samford University.
- Concurrent enrollment offers opportunities for students to work on their Associate in Science degree and their Bachelor’s degree at the same time putting students on a quick, cost-effective pathway to achieving their educational goals.
