The material covered in this course is parallel to and supportive of the material taught in MTH 100. Emphasis is placed on providing students with additional academic and noncognitive support to facilitate success in the paired MTH 100 class. This course produces institutional, non-transferable credit only and will not satisfy the requirements for degrees and certificates.

MTH 098 with a minimum grade of C or appropriate placement score in mathematics.
