The Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree is designed for students who wish to prepare for a career and benefit from a college general education. AAS degrees in Technical Education require between 60 and 76 semester hours, depending on the program of study. A minimum of 15 semester hours of general education courses is required for all AAS programs.
